Coconut Drop Biscuits


As I’m in the middle of this sugar/candida detox/cleanse I’ve had to get a little creative with my food to stop myself from getting bored or derailed from my goal.

Coconut Drop Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup sifted coconut flour
  • 1/4 tsp double acting baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Pre-heat the over to 200/375F
  • Beat the eggs, salt and coconut oil together until fully incorporated.
  • Whisk the flour and baking powder
  • Slowly wish the flour into the egg mixture.
  • Add your extra add-ins
  • Spoon dollops onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Should yield about 8 biscuits.
  • Bake for 15mins or until golden brown.

Notes

Feel free to mix in your favourite biscuit flavours.

Here are some of mine...sage & cheddar, Italian seasons & garlic, garlic and onion, and bacon/sausage and cheddar

I imagine there are a multitude of sweet combinations but as I'm in the middle of a sugar detox I can't suggest any. Will update after the detox 😊
